Soccer and Crochet

This film made to Yahoo! tells the story of a smart Brazilian guy who brought from Australia a sport called footbag. Here, he mixed it with three more sports and created a new one, the Futsac, a fusion of football, voleyball and tenis. The bags are made of crochet, stitched by old ladies who live in underserved areas. He created an Association of crocheters and part of the profit obtained with the sell of the bags is reverted to this Association. This social work has helped them, improving their revenues and raising their selfesteem.

DASH

The story of a man who has an inspiring insight into the relationship between the dashes on people’s headstones and life. The clip is a salute to life. Very very creative.

WINNER AS “BEST FILM” in the RNA 2015 Documentaries Contest, in  Philadelphia, USA, THE EXCOMMUNICATED tells the story of Father Beto, a priest from the interior of Brazil, who was excommunicated by the Vatican in 2014 for preaching unconditional love for all, the first one to be excommunicated by the Catholic Church since Giordano Bruno,  414 years ago. RNA is an organization with 66 years made by journalists.

World Forum for Peace and Sustainable Development

Video for the “World Forum on Tourism, Peace and Sustainable Development”, a movement initiated by the Brazilian government with the support of entities such as UN, World Tourism Organization, UNESCO, National Geographic Society, Rainforest Alliance, WWWFund, among others. The event took place in the Planalto Palace in Brasilia in 2012, in July, with the President of Brazil, Brazilian authorities and international representatives of these organizations.

Heart Radio is a feature-length script that tells the story of Abasin, a 13-year-old Afghan boy whose life is completely changed by the war in his country, and who, in order to escape it, is sent on a journey where he will grow up and become a man, but to do so he will face his own fears and pay a high price for it.

The short fiction film DASH was selected for the New York LIFT-OFF Film Festival - 2024, in NY city. The film tells the story of a man who, up on visiting his wife s tombstone in the cemetery, he has an inspiring epiphany and draws an incredible parallel bet we en the little dash that separate the dates on people s tombstone sand our lives.
